Until now, staff could be forced out from any drugs trolleys they were signed into (for administering medication) only through the administrative area of the eMAR application. In this update we have included this functionality in CC Windows as this is more convenient for some administrative and managerial staff.
You can access this area by going to the Advanced Stuff tab and clicking Device Management.
In here you’ll find a new button, eMAR Current Status.
Clicking on this button will load the Sign Ins screen.
If you select a Trolley and click Force Sign-Out then you can sign out the staff member who is currently signed in to administer.
If nobody is currently signed in to administer medication then clicking eMAR Current Status will give this message:
