We are now moving the new Payroll system out from under the “Beta” label. You now have the option to set which system you will be using. The tow options are:

  • Basic – this is the original Payroll system on Care Control and uses Timesheets.
  • Advanced – this is the newer system which includes Payroll Managers, critical and non-critical issues, exceptional lines and uses Work Records.

The setting can be found in the main System Settings (as Payroll Settings do not apply to the Basic system and so are unavailable when this system is active).

The extra buttons that were added with the Advanced Payroll system have been removed. Instead, whichever system you use will be accessible through the Load Payroll button.

If you are using the Basic system, you will have access to the Timesheets, whereas Advanced users will have access to Work Records.

If you have previously finalised Payroll with the Advanced Payroll system then this update will automatically set you as using the Advanced system, else you will be set up with the Basic system.
