Just like on Windows, Consents & Capacity is now available on CC Mobile, and it functions the same way too. First off, we need to know where it’s located too. Load up Mobile > enter your PIN > then click/tap View Residents Care Plans (please note, dependent on the settings chosen that ‘Residents’ may be displayed with a different name) > Select/tap a resident.

Click Show Care Plan Options to the left-hand side > underneath Care Review, and above Risk Assessments, the area Consents & Capacity will be displayed.

How will they be displayed?

Displayed will be two buttons, one for Consent and the other for Mental Capacity Assessments. If the resident does not have any Consents or MCAs then the area below will be blank.

The Functionality

Currently, users can expire any Active Consents or MCAs, Click the Expire Active button. On Mobile Consent and MCAs can only be recorded by going into Record Care Plan Information and selecting Consent or Mental Capacity.

The Expired MCA/Consent will move to the bottom of the list, with any remaining Active Records remaining at the top. This will also be reflected in Windows, although you may need to refresh the page by selecting another section/service user in order for the change to be displayed.
