On Care Control eMAR you have the ability to manage medication safety times, e.g. you may need to change the safety time of a medication such as Lorazepam so that eMAR will allow you to administer it more frequently.

When you go onto eMAR you will need to select the setting cog.

You will then need to enter your PIN and your Administration password, then select Continue.

You will then need to select the Show Administration Options tab to the left of the screen.

Then select Manage Medicine.

Then select Medicine Safety Times.

You can then enter a medication by selecting Add Medicine.

You will then see the following screen which shows a list of all the medication you have on your system.

You can search for the medication by selecting Medication Type.

Or you can search for the medication in the Search Text box then select the arrow to search.

When you have found the medication you will need to Select your medication by ticking.

You can then enter a safe medication time in minutes, then select Save Entries.

You will then see your medication showing with the Safe Time you entered.
