Amending Personal Allowance on CC Pocket

Personal Allowance is an area commonly used on Care Control Windows. It allows you to record client spending on personal items such as newspapers and shampoo. This tool is now available on Care Control Pocket, which means that you can add funds to an account or record a deduction if funds are spent.

You can access the Personal Allowance area from the Managers Menu. We have a separate guide on how you can find this menu, but the steps are outlined again below:

  • First head to the Staff Menu by tapping the 3 bars in the top right corner of the screen.
  • When in the Staff Menu, press the 3 bars again, and select Managers Menu.

The Managers Menu contains several admin-related tools. To find Personal Allowance, first select the Other Areas option. This will open a new list of options, one of which is the Personal Allowance area.

After opening the Personal Allowance area you will be presented with a list of your residents. Select a resident and press Continue.

The main screen will show the Current Balance of the resident’s account, as well as recent outgoings and balance top ups. To record a change, select Add Entry.

You can now fill out the form by selecting a Category for the transaction, the Type of transaction (money out / in), the Amount, and any extra details.

Finally, press Add Entry to save the record.
